Lincoln, Zero Dark Thirty and Argo appear to be the favourites for the prestigious Best Picture Oscar this year. But these awards heavyweights were not the top selections among 30,000 film fans who voted for their favourite Best Picture nominee on MSN Movies UK.

The most popular selection by some distance was the blockbusting film adaptation of Les Misérables. The musical, which stars Hugh Jackman, Russell Crowe, Anne Hathaway, Amanda Seyfried and Eddie Redmayne secured 11,030 votes in our poll - over 36% of the votes.
