Nicole Scherzinger has said that “everything’s up in the air” regarding her return to The X Factor.
The Pussycat Dolls singer was a guest judge on the 2010 series of the talent competition, helping to assemble One Direction, before joining the US version in 2011 and returning to the UK show as a permanent judge in 2012.
“There’s no official word - everything’s up in the air,” Scherzinger told Star.
“I had the most shamaze time last year and me and the UK rocked it together.
“You Brits have always been good to me. When I did my first guest judging on the show, you were shamazing to me.”
Asked if she wanted to come back, she added: “If the official talks are right. The UK is my home. You get my music first. I am American, but I’m British at heart.”
She added: “I’m still in touch with all my boys. I’m always here for them if they need [me], if they’ve got questions about music and life, and everything they’re going through.”
